Yang Hak Seon from South Korea won Olympic gold in the men's vault Monday.
Reigning World Champion Yang scored 16.533 after two attempts, one of which had a top difficulty rank of 7.4.
Russia's Denis Ablyazin took silver with 16.399 points for vaults of 7.0 and 7.2 difficulty.
The bronze medal went to 19-year-old Igor Radivilov from Ukraine, whose two attempts, both with a 7.0 difficulty mark, brought him 16.316 points.
