How much will I have to pay on a covered repair? Do I have to wait for reimbursement?
TLC Local will pay all covered charges less a $150 deductible per incident, even if you have two or more repairs required at the same time. TLC Local handles everything with respect to the covered charges and pays the repair facility directly, less the deductible, once repairs are complete. All claims must be approved by TLC Local prior to repairs being performed. Claims for repairs performed without TLC Local authorization may be denied.
Is oil consumption in excess of manufacturer?s specifications covered? Does TLC Local pay for oil and filters on my repair?
Yes, TLC Local follows the Original Equipment Manufacturer?s (OEM) parameters on oil consumption. If oil and filters have been contaminated due to a covered failure, TLC Local will also cover them.
What maintenance guidelines must I follow? What records should I keep?
You must always follow the OEM?s recommended service guidelines for the vehicle and be sure to keep records of all service events.
Will I be responsible for towing?
Yes, the vehicle operator is responsible for towing charges.
