Speed Reading. The Course of Speed Scientific Reading

If you have a yen for reading, a passionate desire to read and enrich your knowledge through reading, but cannot quite comprehend large and complex pieces of information, then speed reading practices might be what you need to easily navigate through these passages.

Through speed reading, you can expeditiously go through even the thickest book, even the most convoluted write-up or reading homework assignment, further appreciate your studies. Speed reading has a designated purpose. Everybody will have to read something some time in his or her life. As such, reading is part of man?s reality, a part of life that cannot be avoided in any way.

The Insider?s Guide to Speed Reading ? Before you start focusing on what you are reading, do a few warm-ups. Create some infinity symbols in your mind, using your hands individually. Next thing you want to do is shut your eyes and think of more infinity symbols, narrower ones, being created. As you may notice, your eyes are moving right to left and vice versa like so. Grab a pen, implement above technique (also known as the Zorro technique) and start scribbling ? neat, huh?

There are three essential elements that make up a soft-focus. When reading sentences, you would first want to look at the upper half of the letters of each word. The retina will be much comfortable in this setup and speed reading is increased by up to 35%.

Secondly, look indirectly into the words in a sentence just like how binoculars work out. Keep your pace slow to the point of being lugubrious when focusing on each word, similar to reading from a microscope.

Third, using your mental ability, divide the sentence into about three clauses and into three words each. Regularly practice with this technique.

Work on your hard-focus technique. Before working on your hard-focus you have to be, in a way, conversant on soft-focus techniques before exploring the inner machinations of hard-focus. You will utilize hard-focus whilst doing a variety of activities, such as working on the computer, playing video games, watching television, etc. To succinctly put it, hard focus in speed reading can be defined as your tunnel-vision, compared to how horses are able to focus with both lateral left and lateral right vision. The fundamental difference of hard-focus from soft-focus would be simple, as the former is a technique that involves focusing on a narrower spectrum, whilst the latter involves relaxing the eyes.

At the end of the day, the simplest path towards better speed reading is constant and consistent practice. If you are up and about to the training that you must engage to, you know for certain that speed reading can soon be one of your fortes.
